Here are some ways in which I use technology in education:
1. Communication: Websites, Twitter, Email, Blogs, and Power School have given me the ability to communicate in several different ways. This has made a huge impact on my ability to give all stake-holders information needed.
2. Share Resources Online: I have been able to collaborate and share ideas with others across the world. This ability to have resources at my fingertips has enhanced the practice of teaching.
3. Research: My students have been able to develop valuable research skills. Technology gives instant access to a wide variety of quality information.
4. Access: There are plenty of resourceful, credible websites available on the Internet that both teachers and students can utilize.
5. Differentiated/Multiple Teaching Strategies: The use of technology in the classroom and with professional development has been an excellent tool to help vary instruction based on the needs of the student and audience.
In addition to the above experiences with technology to enhance teaching and learning, I have also used a wide variety of technology for educational purposes. I would be able to contribute these technology skills to any school:
